Innovative Wines
Our innovative wines range was added to the portfolio for the 2004 vintage following the planting of Italian varietals at our St Kitts vineyard. We currently just utilise the Nebbiolo, which was planted following consultation with an Italian grape grower who commented on similarities in landscape, soil and climate between our St Kitts vineyard and Piedmont in Italy's north.
Largely unheard of, let alone grown in Australia, our Barossa Nebbiolo has a distinctly dry and dusty character with cherry undertones. The range comprises of a straight varietal Nebbiolo and a Cabernet/Nebbiolo Rosé.
