Sandpiper
The Sandpiper range comprises five popular varietals, one classic red blend and two flavoursome limited release wines. All of the wines come from the Thorn-Clarke estate vineyards in the Barossa and are handmade with all the dedication of our winemaking team. The whites are handpicked from our coolest vineyard at Mt Crawford whilst the reds come from our warmer St Kitts and Milton Park vineyards.
The range is named after the migratory bird which visits the Thorn-Clarke vineyards annually from the northern hemisphere - something of a reminder of the tenacity and commitment which is required for long term viticulture.
The Sandpiper Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and 'The Blend' have received French and American oak treatment to maximise spice and fruit rather than tannin, while the Eden Valley Pinot Gris, Riesling and Chardonnay are clean, lively drink now styles with excellent structure and balance.
